Simply Savory Gluten Free White Bread

Ingredients:

1 ¼ cups Water at 105-115° (Fahrenheit)
3 Tbsp Canola or Corn Oil
1 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1 Large Egg (at room temperature)
2 ½ cups Simply Savory Gluten Free Baking Mix
1 package Active Dry Yeast, or about 2 ¼ tsp. of Active Dry Yeast

 

Preparation and Baking Instructions:

  1. Mix Water, oil or butter, vinegar and egg together in mixing bowl until blended.
  2. Add flour and yeast and blend until batter is smooth. Should resemble a cake batter consistency.
  3. Place dough into bread pan, 9" x 5" size should be fine, anything smaller only fill pan up to about 1/3 of pan.
  4. Let rise for about an hour.
  5. Bake at 375° (F) for an hour.

Variations:

  • Dark Bread - same as above, add 2 tbsp molasses, 1 tsp Caraway seeds, 1 tsp. Dill weed, 1 level Tbsp. Cocoa Powder with wet ingredients.
  • Italian - same as White Bread, add 2 tsp. Italian Spices, 1 tsp garlic powder with wet ingredients.
  • Multigrain - same as White Bread, except use 2 ¼ cups Simply Savory Gluten Free Baking Mix, and ¼ cup Gluten Free Flaxseed Meal (Bob's Red Mill works fantastic and can be found in many stores).
