About Us
Paul Mehl, the founder of Simply Savory, was motivated to start a Gluten-Free food company because his three brothers, sister, mother, one niece and he all have Celiac Disease.
Paul has been an accomplished cook since his late teen years when he
worked in a fancy steak house restaurant, and when faced with the small
selection of Gluten Free foods, and often feeling that the quality left
much to be desired, Paul decided to dust off his apron, get out of the
wireless communication business, and focus on bringing high quality and
affordable Gluten Free products to market.
Gluten free does not mean taste free!
We love soup, bread, pizza, and hamburgers, and in our journey to rediscover all these wonderful foods without gluten, we thought we'd like to share with you our results so you can get the same enjoyment we do out of eating.
Simply Savory offers gluten free bread, gluten free buns, gluten free mixes, incredible gluten free recipes, and gluten free cookies and cakes that are "to die for".
Our products can be purchased at stores and directly from us using our web sight.
If you love fresh baked items taken and eaten right out of the oven, we highly recommend Simply Savory Baking Mix. It makes wonderful breads, dumplings, cookies, cakes and for many gluten based flour recipes can be substituted cup for cup with the regular flour.
New product development
Simply Savory is committed to bringing new products to market as we develop them. We want to hear from you what you would like to see so we can work to bring those products to market that meet your demands.

Creativity Enabler
Gluten free baking and cooking often requires some creativity to convert those old gluten based favorites to gluten free.
Simply Savory Foods is a creativity enabler. Our Gluten Free Baking Mix can be substituted one to one with most flour based recipes, and since we already have all the xanthan gum and other gluten replacement ingredients added, you don't have to make emergency runs to the store to pick up that one thing you're missing.
